Flat pack furniture goes together in a specific order for a reason. Skipping ahead is how pieces end up warped or screws end up stripped, so we build in the order the manufacturer intended.

Not Overtightening

Particle board strips easily if a screw is driven in too far or too fast. We drive fasteners by feel, not just by running a drill until it stops.

Finding What's Behind The Wall

Before mounting anything heavy, we find the studs. A TV or shelf mounted into drywall alone, without hitting a stud or using the right anchor, is a matter of when it fails, not if.

Rated Anchors For No Stud Situations

When a stud isn't where we need it, we use anchors rated for the actual weight of what's being hung, not just whatever was left in the truck.

Anti Tip Hardware

For dressers and bookshelves, especially in homes with kids or pets, we install anti tip straps that anchor the furniture to the wall so it can't be pulled forward.
